Portfolio of Marvel In Motion Interactive Discs

A childhood dream, what comic book geek wouldn't find this to exist on the edge of cool? One of the most exciting projects of my career was the chance to team up with Marvel™ Comics and work on a project involving everyone's favorite action adventure heroes.

This series was very unique as the multimedia cards were released in tandem with the comic books from Marvel. The concept of "Origin" was crafted by Marvel Comics for the fans after years of steady demand regarding the mystery and obscure beginnings of one of Marvel's most popular and marketable super heroes.

My primary role in the design and development of this series of interactive trading cards involved the creative direction in planning what content should appear on each of the trading cards in the series. The original run was going to be six cards based on the six parts of the ORIGIN storyline from Marvel. In addition to planning the creative content, I worked with the graphic designers on information architecture and produced the wireframes for the interface. In addition I programmed the Adobe Flash animations and developed portions of the Marvel In Motion comic book movie in Adobe After Effects.
